Allison Williams Dedicates Her 'Peter Pan' Flying to Robin Williams

Girls star Allison Williams couldn't help but think back on Robin Williams role in Hook as she took on her first flying lesson as Peter Pan.

Following the news of Williams' death on Monday, he was 63, the 26-year-old actress Instagrammed: "First day of flying lessons for Pan. Thinking about and missing a hero of mine who once did this and left big shoes to fill."

Allison will be starring alongside Christopher Walken in NBC's Peter Pan Live. "Thrilled to be playing Peter Pan Live on NBC in December," she announced on Instagram this past July, posting a childhood pic of herself dressed as the Neverland character. "I've been rehearsing for a REALLY long time."

NBC will air Peter Pan Live on December 4, 2014.
