While Disney's Aladdin was the highest-grossing film with Robin in a starring role (the animated flick pulled in more than half a billion dollars worldwide), the Oscar winner only earned $75,000 for his work. He later earned another paycheck for lending his voice to a direct-to-video sequel.

His second-best performing movie was Mrs. Doubtfire, which collected more than $441 million worldwide.

Co-star Pierce Brosnan opened up about meeting Robin for the first time, saying, "I went into the makeup trailer and Robin was sitting there in a pair of boots and his hairy legs and a Hawaiian shirt and his hairy arms, and there he sat, but with Mrs. Doubtfire's head on. So that was my first encounter with Robin Williams ... I never really worked with Robin Williams to tell you the truth. I worked with Mrs. Doubtfire."

Robin personally reeled in a reported $20 million for his role in Bicentennial Man, which ironically was one of his biggest flops.
