While most celebrities are known for having flawless skin, you might be surprised to learn that some of the biggest stars in Hollywood sport some serious scars. We have the stories behind them.

Funny man Jonah Hill has a giant scar on his right elbow stemming from an accident when he was 15-years-old. He revealed to Rolling Stone, he began acting out after while his mom was battling cancer and snuck out of his house. This of course ended in a car accident and he remembers waking up in the hospital to doctors discussing whether or not to amputate his arm.

"I said to myself, 'I'll never let them down ever again.' I said, 'I'm going to be f***** successful. I'm going to resurrect what I put these people through by being a little a**hole,' Jonah said to the mag. "So I look at this scar every day. That reminds me to work hard."

SNL alum, Tina Fey's scar isn't all that noticeable even though it is on her face but her story is a scary one. When she was just five-years-old, a stranger violent slashed her face but it didn't have any effect on her upbringing, she told Vanity Fair, "I proceeded unaware of it. I was a very confident little kid. It's really almost like I'm kind of able to forget about it, until I was on-camera."
