Who knew Charlie Sheen was such a softy?!
The outspoken actor took to Twitter on Thursday to post a heartfelt message to comedian Joan Rivers after she was hospitalized and placed into a medically induced coma.
Sheen, 48, shared a signed photo of an early appearance he made on Rivers' '80s FOX program The Late Show starring Joan Rivers, but it's the caption that might make you see Sheen differently. The Anger Management actor wrote: "Please come back to us young lady. Your inimitable genius and compassion keeps a world you set in motion, a lot better every day"
Earlier Thursday, the 81-year-old Fashion Police host was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital after she stopped breathing during an endoscopic procedure at Yorkville Endoscopy in New York City.
Reports later surfaced that Rivers had been placed in a medically induced coma.
Joan's daughter, TV personality Melissa Rivers, released a statement to ET saying, "I want to thank everyone for the overwhelming love and support for my mother. She is resting comfortably and is with our family. We ask that you continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers."
