The exclusive photos of the ceremony include shots of Jolie's silk satin Atelier Versace gown designed by Donatella Versace, and her veil that was decorated with her children's artwork. Luigi Massi was the maser tailor at Atelier Versace behind the gorgeous getup. "Luigi is like family to me and I couldn't imagine anyone else making this dress," Jolie gushed to the magazine. "He knows and cares for the children and it was great fun putting it together."

The private, nondenominational civil ceremony took place in a small chapel on their property, Chateau Miraval, in France on Saturday, August 23, in front of 20 friends and family. "It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter," the newlyweds told People. "It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family."

Jolie, 39, walked down the aisle with her eldest sons Maddox, 13, and Pax, 10, while Zahara, 9, and Vivienne, 6, threw petals as the flower girls. Their other two kids, Shiloh, 8, and Knox, 6, served as the ring bearers.

Zahara wore a dress designed by a family friend named Adama Kebe, Vivienne donned a white dress from her closet and Maddox, Pax, Shiloh and Knox wore black suits (Shiloh donning a top hat). Jeweler Robert Procop created the couple's wedding bands along with Jolie's engagement ring.

As if the kids weren't involved enough, People notes that Pax baked the couple's wedding cake! Pitt also needed his kids to help him get dressed. Though he wore a suit from his closet, the A-list actor forgot a tie and ended up borrowing one from his sons.
