Joan Rivers Remains on Life Support Says Daughter Melissa in New Statement

Melissa says she and her family are "extremely grateful for all the love and support" they've received.

Joan Rivers is still on life support, her daughter Melissa Rivers confirmed in a statement today.

"On behalf of my mother and our family, we are extremely grateful for all the love and support we've received. At this
time she does remain on life support.

I know my mother would be overwhelmed by the continued outpouring of kindness and I want to thank everyone for keeping us in their prayers."

The statement comes after a source told ET that doctors were beginning to bring Joan out of her medically induced coma.

The Fashion Police judge, 81, was placed under a medically induced coma following a routine endoscopy. Not long after the procedure started, she stopped breathing and was then rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital.
