Fun facts from the latest edition of the Guinness Book of World Records.

The Guinness Book of World Records have just released the biggest record breakers of 2015. From music and movies to TV and social media, we have the scoop on the biggest star-studded entries.

In what was a record breaking year for TV, this year Game of Thrones is officially the most pirated TV show. The insanely popular HBO series was downloaded illegally 5.9 million times.

"The last show of last season just on its own was downloaded 1 million times," Stuart Claxton, of Guinness Book of World Records, tells ET. "[Game of Thrones] has gone global so people want to try and watch it as and when it comes out in the United States."

The boys of One Direction have the honor of being the "First act to debut at No. 1 with first three albums" with Midnight Memories, Up All Night and Take Me Home all debuting at the top of the charts.

There were plenty of records being broken online this year as well. Miley Cyrus has the honor of being the "Most searched-for Pop Star on the Internet," while Shakira is officially the first person to reach 100 million likes on Facebook. She conquered that feat in July.

But it's Vin Diesel's Facebook photo of himself and the late Paul Walker that earned the "Most 'likes' on an item." The post garnered a total of 6.8 million likes.

"Vin Diesel obviously has a massive fan following as did Paul Walker," Claxton explains. "I think [his Facebook post] probably generated a heartfelt emotion when Paul Walker passed away."
