After all these years, Mel Brooks is still good for a laugh.
The 88-year-old added a little something to his handprint during his Hand and Footprint Ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Monday. The funnyman wore a prosthetic finger on his left hand during the cement portion of the ceremony.
Tweeting a photo of his 11-finger handprint, Brooks wrote: "I desperately need to wash my hands."
Brooks later showed up on Conan and explained his gag. "I wanted to do something just a little different, I didn't know what. So I got another finger."
Still donning the fake finger, the Young Frankenstein star held it up to the audience and exclaimed, "Look at that! That is so realistic."
