Miley Cyrus Shares an Inspiring Message from Dad Billy Ray Cyrus

It's a classic father-daughter pick-me-up conversation. In a new Instagram, Miley Cyrus is sharing the words of advice she got from her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus. She took a screenshot of the phone conversation, and her dad's message says this.

Billy Ray encourages Miley to not be a bitter old man like himself so she captions the message saying, "I love my dad @billyraycyrus. I think that's why I love @waynecoyne5 he has so many of the same philosophy's as my dada who is the most magical hillbilly wizard of all time."

Miley is comparing the similar "philosophies" of her good friend Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne to her dad's.

Billy Ray may be the most "magical hillbilly wizard of all time" to his daughter, but in his eyes, she's "still his little girl."

Last year, Billy Ray told ET's Nancy O’Dell exclusively, "She's still my little girl and I'm still her Dad regardless how this circus we call show business plays out. I love her unconditionally and that will never change."

While it's unclear why she's down, we're happy to see her dad is there to cheer her up. Most recently, Miley has been focusing on artwork. Her sculptures were featured in New York Fashion Week.
