An Artist Imagined Who Disney Princesses Would Dress Up as for Halloween

Have you decided who you’re dressing as for Halloween? Someone from Frozen? Maybe throwback to Snow White or Alice in Wonderland? We dress as Disney princesses, but who do the Disney Princesses dress as?

Isaiah K. Stephens
, an artist from Massachusetts, drew the answers!

“I chose Disney princesses as the base of the project because, as a whole, I think they appeal to not only varying types of girls/women but us guys as well,” Isaiah told ETonline. “I know some people think that they place negative and unrealistic gender roles for young girls to follow, but as an artist, I've always enjoyed looking past their exterior and actually paying attention to the story being told.”

Snow White as Wonder Woman

Mulan as Xena the Warrior Princess

Belle from Beauty and the Beast as Hermoine Granger

Ariel from The Little Mermaid as Black Widow from Avengers

Pocahontas as Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games

Alice of Alice in Wonderland as Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Merida from Brave as X-Men’s Rouge

Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty as Danaerys Targaryen

(Almost as good as Elsa accidentally as Danaerys Targaryen.)

It’s not all Disney princesses either...

Quasimodo from Hunchback of Notre Dame as Austin Powers

Aladdin and Abu as Pokémon’s Ash Ketchum and Pikachu

Flynn Ryder and Maximus from Tangled as Marty McFly and Doc Brown

And the coolest of them all: Tinkerbell as Beatrix Kiddo from Kill Bill

“I basically thought to myself, ‘If (Belle, Cinderella, or Pocahontas...) were real, who would be someone from our pop culture references that they'd be a fan of,” Isaiah told ETonline. “It was a simple question, but it yielded some pretty crazy results.”

Isaiah says he plans to do another series for Halloween this year, which means we’ll get to see Elsa and Anna in costume. Any guesses who they'll dress as? Until then, check out the rest of Isaiah’s drawings on his Deviant Art page!
