George Clooney is a married man, and ET has all the details!

Clooney, 53, married Amal Alamuddin, 36, at the hotel Aman Canal Grande in a private ceremony in Venice on Saturday, ET confirms. Former mayor of Rome Walter Veltroni officiated the wedding.

Celebrity guests included U2 musician Bono, Clooney's Monuments Men and Ocean's 11 co-star Matt Damon, supermodel Cindy Crawford (who's husband Rande Gerber acted as Best Man) and The Office star John Krasinski ...just to name a few.

The big wedding weekend started Friday night when the couple was photographed with family and friends leaving the five-star Belmond Cipriani Hotel.

George and 36-year-old Amal, a British attorney who specializes in international law and human rights, were first spotted together last October. News of their engagement broke in April.

The couple took out a marriage license in London in early August.

Clooney, a notorious bachelor, wasn't shy about declaring his love for Amal when he received the Humanitarian Award at Celebrity Fight Night in Tuscany, Italy on Sunday, Sept. 7. "In closing I would just like to say -- to my bride-to-be Amal -- that I love you very much, and I can't wait to be your husband," George surprisingly said as he wrapped up his acceptance speech.
