Nick Cannon Covers Up His Huge Mariah Carey Tattoo With Even Bigger Crucifix

In perhaps the most damning evidence yet that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon really are heading towards a divorce after six years of marriage, Nick has completely covered up his huge back tattoo that formerly read "Mariah."

Going shirtless after a recent workout in Studio City, Calif., Nick, 33, debuted an eye-catching new crucifixion tattoo where his former Mariah tattoo was.

Interestingly enough, Nick still had his huge Mariah tattoo two months ago, when it could prominently be seen during this shirtless video of him participating in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge posted on Instagram.

In August, Nick confirmed to The Insider guest host Chris Spencer that "there is trouble in paradise" and that he and Mariah have been living in separate houses for months.

He later defended his wife against a furor of divorce rumors in an epic 19-tweet rant in September.

Nick and Mariah married in 2008 after a whirlwind romance, and have two children together – twins Moroccan and Monroe, 3.

Mariah, 44, has been making her own headlines recently, though for not exactly the best reasons -- video of her kicking off her Elusive Chanteuse Show tour in Japan Saturday has gone viral after the singer failed to hit some of her high notes.
