Picture this: Jenny from the block showing Olivia Pope how to shake that booty. It's hard to imagine but, believe it or not, this actually happened!
Kerry Washington revealed in an interview with Yahoo! that both she and Jennifer Lopez grew up in the Bronx and even went to the same local Boys & Girls Club. It was there that the Scandal star learned some dance moves from a young J.Lo.

"We had this amazing dance teacher, Larry, and Jennifer actually used to substitute when Larry wasn't around," she recalled. "You wouldn't know it from my build, but Jennifer taught me how to dance. And I remember when she left the Boys Club because she was leaving New York to go to L.A. to try and make it big and we were all like, 'Oh my gosh.'"
This isn't the first time that Kerry revealed she grew up with an A-lister. In an recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the 37-year-old shared that she went to high school with Gwyneth Paltrow!

"I was in an a Capella group in high school," she said. "It was a nine-girl a cappella singing group, we called ourselves Triple Trio. And when I was in junior high school I really wanted to be in Triple Trio because there was this really amazing senior named Gwyneth Paltrow and she was president of Triple Trio. So I really wanted to be president of Triple Trio one day. And then I was co-president of Triple Trio one day. My shining honor!"
Thanks in part to her starring role on the ABC hit Scandal, looks like Kerry had made as big a name for herself as her childhood peers.
