Melissa McCarthy showed up to a bikini-clad costume party dressed like her aunt!
"Halloween is the one night a year when girls can dress like a total sl** and no other girls can say anything about it." Apparently Melissa McCarthy didn't get the Mean Girls memo when she showed up to Adam Levine's Halloween party years ago dressed like her Aunt Bernice.
Jimmy Kimmel showed a photo on Monday's late-night show of the St. Vincent star in a frumpy getup, posing alongside fellow actress Jennifer Esposito. McCarthy explains that she and her gal pal wore these fun ensembles to the Maroon 5 front man's costume party (he was her neighbor at the time), but quickly noticed they were the only women there not in bikinis.

"Every single woman had a bikini on of a different ilk," McCarthy told Kimmel, describing costumes like the "cavegirl" bikini and "medic" bikini. She added that the other guests "were so horrified" and confused as to why she was decidedly dressed like a not-so-glamorous Midwestern relative.
"It wasn't funny. It didn't seem like ironic," McCarthy recalled. "They were like, 'What are you?'"
“That's my idea of Halloween there,” she quipped. “I'm pretty sure we got a pity invite -- just so we wouldn't call the cops.”
What's also funny about this flashback photo is that Jennifer Esposito is dressed like a character from her ex-husband Bradley Cooper's '70s mafia movie American Hustle -- which was made long after Esposito wore this costume.

Can we expect Aunt Bernice's lookalike at Levine's Halloween party this year? "I'm gonna crash it," McCarthy, 44, joked. "I'm gonna find out where he lives now. I'm coming for you, Levine!"
McCarthy might be in costume on the big screen soon if the rumors are true that she'll be in Ghostbusters 3.
