Robert Downey Jr. Visiting the DMV is Exactly as Fun as You'd Expect

Today was the most exciting day at the DMV ever.

Actor and fun person Robert Downey Jr. ditched his Iron Man body armor for a dapper suit this afternoon when he walked into the Santa Monica DMV to renew his driver license and make the day of everyone in the building.

In true Tony Stark fashion, the 49-year-old Golden Globe winner couldn't leave without bringing some improvements to the operation. Here he is going behind the desk, getting a feel for how things are done.

Earlier, RDJ was across town in Hollywood for Marvel's announcement of a huge slate of new films, including Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 and Part 2 (opening May 4, 2018 and May 3, 2019, respectively), Doctor Strange (opening Nov. 4, 2016), Captain America: Civil War (opening May 6, 2016), Black Panther (opening Nov. 3, 2017), Captain Marvel (opening July 6, 2018), The Inhumans (opening Nov. 2, 2018), Ant-Man (opening July 17, 2015) and a Guardians of the Galaxy sequel (opening May 5, 2017).

As a part of the announcement, RDJ, Marvel's elder statesman, welcomed Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman into the Marvel family via Twitter just hours before his DMV outing.
