Halle Berry is focusing on what lies underneath.
Halle Berry has been inspired by the French!
As a result of being married to French actor, Olivier Martinez, Berry tells Yahoo! Style, "I have definitely changed."
One example? "French women would not put their sweats on and run out to the market," Halle explains. "So I care more about what I wear out of the house." She says her husband even calls her out on it.
And that's not the only Parisian sensibility Berry has adopted, the 48-year-old actress also notes that French women who are confident on the outside also care what about what they wear underneath it all.
"They're not going to get caught in an emergency room without being prepared," Halle quips.
The only problem is that French lingerie comes with a hefty price tag, so the Extant star came up with a solution — Scandale, her new 10-piece line for Target.

Her love for lingerie also stems from life lessons from her mom. As she tells Yahoo! Style, her mom advised her to, "always wear a good bra, or gravity will show no mercy."
And that's not all her mama taught her, "She said if I don't want my boobs to hit my knees by the time I'm 30, always wear a bra, even to bed." Guess that ends the age-old debate about if women should wear a bra to bed!

As a former model and People's 2003 "Most Beautiful Woman," she knows a thing or two about being sexy, but she does acknowledge that age impacts the way sexy women are portrayed. "As actresses we need to accept that we're not always going to be the sexy ingénue, but hopefully we get better with age."
Now women of all ages can wear lingerie like Halle and feel just as sexy and confident.
