Take it from Ashton Kutcher -- you never know when inspiration will strike.
Plenty of people were surprised at the unisex name Kutcher and Mila Kunis decided to give their baby girl -- Wyatt Isabelle Kutcher -- which the couple revealed earlier this month
, but now the 36-year-old Two and a Half Men star
is revealing the inspiration behind the unique name.
During his appearance on Conan O'Brien's show Tuesday, he explained that the couple actually had a different name picked out before Mila's pregnancy.
"We got pregnant a couple of weeks after we picked the name but when we were pregnant, the name didn't fit the energy we were feeling," he shared. "One night, Mila was like, 'This is not the name.' I was like, 'OK, it's not the name.'"
He revealed that the couple surprisingly landed on their chosen baby name at a Lakers game.
"I had to get the creative juices going, so we were going to a Lakers game, and I got name Tourette’s,'" he joked. "I just started listing off anything and everything I saw: 'Sign, truck, wall, door...’ She [was] like, 'Shut up!' I said, 'If you don't accept my bad ideas, you'll never accept the good ones.'"
Though Kutcher's process actually ended up working.
"I was like, 'I've got a really dumb idea. What about Wyatt?,'" he recalled. "She goes, 'That’s it.'"
And this being the tech-savvy Kutcher
, he immediately reserved all of the domain names related to the baby name.
"We've got the Twitter handle, the Instagram, everything you could possibly get -- I don’t want a porn site with my daughter’s name!" he explained.
All jokes aside, Kutcher is clearly enjoying his new role as a parent, calling fatherhood "the greatest thing on Earth."
"It's unbelievable," he said, also confirming that the A-list couple aren't employing the help of any nannies or night nurses. "As soon as this child was born, I immediately wanted to call my parents and just apologize -- because I never knew how much they loved me."
