After Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson's grandmother Sandra Hale revealed to ET that Child Protective Services is investigating the family, reports have surfaced that Lee "Uncle Poodle" Thompson may be fighting for custody of Honey Boo Boo.

Uncle Poodle, Honey Boo Boo's paternal uncle, reportedly plans to seek temporary custody of his niece if June "Mama June" Shannon doesn't completely sever her ties with convicted sex offender Mark McDaniel. ET's David Begnaud caught up with Honey Boo Boo's parents Mama June and Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson in McIntyre Ga. to get their take on the report.

"That sh*t won't happen -- I promise you," said Mama June.

"I don't want to see [Uncle Poodle] right now," said Sugar Bear.

This news follows Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson's minor health scare on Sunday, when a spike in his blood pressure prompted an ambulance call to his home.

Mama June denies reports that she rekindled a romantic relationship with McDaniel, but TLC canceled the family's reality show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo when photos surfaced reportedly showing Mama June house hunting with McDaniel.

There was also a report that TLC slashed Mama June's salary, citing a morality clause in her contract. The report also says that Sugar Bear and Mama June's children will receive their full salaries.
