Kelly Ripa has millions of fans, but her teenage daughter Lola might not be one of them.
The Live with Kelly and Michael co-host, 44, tells Wendy Williams that in looking out for her daughter's best interest, she can sometimes lose cool points in her household.
"I don't think she likes me, but I don't care," Kelly says. "I'm like, 'I'm not your friend. I'm your mom.' I just feel an obligation as her mom to keep her living in the real world. I don't care who you are or what you do, if you're a mom, you're a mom."
One unpopular decision came when Kelly and husband Mark Consuelos, 43, were forced to revoke Lola's phone and Internet privileges because she was posting to Instagram when she was supposed to be studying Spanish.
"She broke the rules," Kelly says. "I'm like, 'You're half-Mexican. Your grandmother is a Spanish teacher. You're not allowed to fail Spanish. It's the one thing you're not allowed to fail!'"
Kelly and Mark have three children together -- Lola, 13, Michael, 17, and Joaquin, 11.
Kelly's Wendy Williams Show appearance comes after she started teaching her eldest child, Michael, to drive. She made a revealing Instragram post in August, showing herself sitting shotgun with Michael -- both wearing rigid looks on their faces.
