"After I had my baby, I was like, 'I have to get right to it ... I have to make sure that that baby has everything and doesn't want for nothing,'" Lil Kim told HipHollywood.

The baby's father is rapper Mr. Papers, who shared an image of his baby girl with the caption: "Everybody say hi to my beautiful a** daughter Miss Royal … #LilPapers my lil Scooby snack."

With the newborn, Lil Kim's career has a whole new focus. She's returning to the stage with Missy Elliott and Da Brat for the first time since 1998 to perform their song Not Tonight.

"I'm just really excited to see my friends," said Lil Kim. "Missy Elliott is my sister. She's a long-term friend and just someone that I love dearly."
