Alfonso Ribeiro was the toaster with the moster - all for a good cause!

Over the weekend, Fresh Prince alum and Dancing With the Stars fan favorite Alfonso Ribeiro presided over Southern Comfort’s attempt at pulling off The World’s Largest Group Toast. And we were there to experience it all.

The night started with the Electric Run at Dodger Stadium:

For those who don’t know, the Electric Run is like a regular 5K, but they play loud music and you run with a glow stick. Some 10,000 participants donned their best neon and ran, walked, danced their way through three miles of giant gummy bear balloons and strobe lights.

And then it basically turned into a rave:

Yeah, like a rave rave. This kind of rave:

And that was the perfect location for The World’s Largest Group Toast. So what made Alfonso worthy of being the night’s toastmaster? “They wanted someone who could have fun in all this neon,” he told ETonline.

“This really feels like a throwback to Fresh Prince in this outfit,” he continued. “I feel like I could be in the opening credits of the show.”

As Rihanna would say, SoCo poured ‘em up:

For everyone 21 and up. You didn’t have to be toasting with shots though, all beverages were welcome. And it wasn’t just Dodger Stadium that was toasting: “It’s in several cities at the same time,” Alfonso said. “It’s here, it’s in Minneapolis, it’s in Austin, it’s in Phoenix, it’s online, it’s in other cities.”

The best part? "It’s all for a great cause: First Descents,” Alfonso explained. "Which is a non profit that takes care of young, adult cancer survivors. They give them a new zest for life. They take them out, they go do outdoor activities. It’s a wonderful thing.” Southern Comfort donated $5 for each toaster to First Descents.

Cheers to the freakin’ weekend.

And what better way to celebrate accomplishing The World’s Biggest Shot? Oh, with a little Carlton, of course.

But Alfonso couldn’t get too wild (“Only one shot tonight,” he told us) with dance practice the next day. And we have more DWTS scoop coming tonight — like who he thinks his biggest competition is — so check back on ETonline!

And make sure you watch the adorable moment Alfonso announced his wife is expecting their second son, live on TV!
