The stars were out this weekend for one of the first events of Oscar season at the 6th Annual Governors Awards. Actor Harry Belafonte and Japanese animation legend Hayao Miyazaki were among those presented with early honorary Oscars, but the real buzz was on the red carpet.
Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux looked in very much in love, posing together on the red carpet, new dad Robert Downey Jr. got some time off diaper duty to celebrate with The Judge co-star Robert Duvall, and John Krasinski and Emily Blunt left baby daughter Hazel at home for a date night.
"She’s very cute," Blunt gushed to ET. "She’s started crawling. She’s a little lopsided, but she’s doing it."
The press was also buzzing about Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch, who recently announced his engagement to Sophie Hunter in the "Forthcoming Marriages" section of The Times of London.
"It's a very conventional way to announce an engagement where I come from," Cumberbatch told ET. "It’s something I would do if i wasn't in the public eye. I’m slightly old-fashioned, I guess."
The Academy Awards air February 22, 2015.
