Channing Tatum Plays the Hottest Game of 'Box of Lies' with Jimmy Fallon Yet

NBC

Channing Tatum is not a good liar.

It's safe to say Channing Tatum is easy on the eyes.

The 34-year-old superstar is the first male celebrity to play Jimmy Fallon's popular "Box of Lies" game, in which Jimmy and his opponent can either lie or tell the truth when it comes to the super-random items in a given box. The opponent must then determine if the other player is lying or telling the truth.

Wednesday night's almost 7-minute long game featured plenty of close-ups of Channing's face, so clearly, his fans never got bored with the segment.

"Box of Lies," which both Jennifer Lawrence and Kerry Washington have memorably played before, has also become known for the pretty bizarre objects kept in the numbered boxes, and this time was no exception.

Among the items in this game were a Chewbacca action figure frozen in Jell-O, and an ET doll in a sleeping bag with crowns all over it.

Channing was on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote his intense new film Foxcatcher, about an Olympic wrestler (Channing) and his disturbed multi-millionaire sponsor (Steve Carell).

The ominous mood on the set was apparently so dark that Channing's wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum actually cut her set visit short, he recently dished to ET.

"My wife was pregnant at the time and she came for like three days," he said. "She was supposed to stay for a week, and after the third day she was like, 'I'm going to go home. This isn't any fun at all.'"

"It was kind of depressing," he added. "It was cold, we were away from our families, it was tough. These were dark people in a dark story to portray."
