Melissa McCarthy stepped out looking happy and a touch slimmer on Sunday, wearing yet another stylish red-carpet getup.
Donning a multi-colored jacket, tennis shoes and a matching black top and pants, the 44-year-old Mike & Molly star was noticeably thinner as she walked the red carpet of the P.S. ARTS Express Yourself event in Santa Monica, Calif. alongside her husband Ben Falcone.
It's being reported that McCarthy has lost an estimated 45-50 pounds.
The actress opened up to Rolling Stone magazine this summer about how she views dieting. "I could eat healthier, I could drink less," she admitted. "I should be learning another language and working out more, but I'm just always saying, 'Ah, I could get hit by a bus tomorrow.'"
That being said, the Bridesmaids star did admit to Redbook magazine in their July 2014 issue that she had trouble finding a designer that was willing to dress her size for the 2012 Academy Awards. "When I go shopping, most of the time I'm disappointed," McCarthy said. "Two Oscars ago, I couldn't find anybody to do a dress for me. I asked five or six designers--very high-level ones who make lots of dresses for people--and they all said no."
McCarthy has since started her own plus-size line called Daniella Pearl.
In addition to keeping a healthy self image, the actress and her hubby shared with ET their secret to a happy marriage in Hollywood. Hear their sweet advice, below.
