Flight Attendant Sings 'Royals' To Passengers, and Lorde Loves It

Talk about a fun to flight to be on!

American Airlines Flight attendant Robynn Shayne loves to play and guitar andsing -- so she serenaded passengers with a cover of Lorde's "Royals." Her colleague, Nick Stracener posted this video of her on YouTube in an attempt to make it go viral.

Now at over 257,000 views, even Lorde noticed, posting about how much she loved the cover in a Tweet to her 2.6 million followers.

Lorde, who is only 18, is also an encouraging friend. Her curated pop soundtrack for the Hunger Games: Mockingjay--Part 1 features her pal Jennifer Lawrence.

The film's director, Francis Lawrence, recently spoke to Vulture about the haunting song "Hanging Tree" that Jennifer sings herself in the movie, saying, "She would have much rather we used somebody else's voice. I think she said she wanted Lorde to do it!"

Now the actress is becoming a bit of a pop star as the single is a top 40 hit in the UK according to the BBC.

With a little help from Lorde, both Shayne and Lawrence have become singing sensations.
