Why 2014 Was the 'Kraziest' Year Yet to Keep up With Kim Kardashian

It’s no secret that Kim Kardashian loves the spotlight, but it seems like her name was attached to a new headline nearly every day.

From "Breaking the Internet" with her full-frontal Paper Magazine pics to tying the knot with Kanye West in Italy in May to her constant stream of selfies and belfies [no apostrophes on those], keeping up with Kim's 2014 was pretty much a full-time job. Basically, it was pretty 'krazy' to say the least.

Since there's so much, let’s break it down month-by-month. All aboard!

January

She began the year by sharing a 'belfie' with the world and just a few short days later, she showed off some seriously adorable snapshots of then 7-month-old daughter North West. #herworld

February

Proving her daughter already has a better wardrobe than any of us will ever have, Kim shared a pic of baby Roberto Cavalli. Oh and in case you didn’t already know by his epic proposal, Kanye is obnoxiously romantic and gifted his bride-to-be with 1,000 roses on Valentine’s Day.

March

By March, she was back at it with mirror selfies, this time wearing her then 16-year-old sister's bikini. And then the unthinkable happened. Kim and Kanye landed the coveted cover of Vogue along with the longest hashtag ever: #worldsmosttalkedaboutcouple. The inside of the magazine included a photo shoot with the couple and their daughter North. Fun fact: Kim told Seth Meyers during an appearance on his late night show that North actually peed on Kanye during the shoot.

April

The reality star had no shame in sharing her failed attempt to take a selfie with an elephant during her family’s Thailand vacay. She also posted a #vintage snapshot of her mom Kris with her now ex-step-dad Bruce Jenner in matching leather outfits in celebration of the now-divorced couple’s 23rd wedding anniversary.

May

May was a BIG MONTH for Kim K. She attended the Met Gala with all her famous friends, received a wall of roses, hydrangeas, and peonies from Kanye for Mother’s Day, and said “I do” to Yeezy. Seriously, it was the kraziest!

June

Kim, or Kiki as her family refers to her, was loving the opportunity to tan like a goddess in June, launched her incredibly successful app Kim Kardashian: Hollywood and threw her daughter an epic ‘Kidchella’ themed party for her first birthday!

July

In July she proved her extreme dedication to Instagram by leaving the Hamptons in a helicopter just to post some pics, shared her exact same face 9 different times in one picture, and then it was back to Mexico to show off her tan curves (again).

August

She shamelessly showed off her secret to getting that hourglass shape she’s so famous for in August and tried to be sporty on a paddleboard … but wound up failing. She also celebrated the birthday of her wedding dress designer Givenchy’s Ricardo Tisci in Ibiza, which seemed like a perfect opportunity to post a topless pic of the wedding prep!

September

In September we were all like, "there’s Kim’s butt again" when she posted a pic from her GQ photo shoot. She also came to the defense of her man after he received criticism for reportedly asking a fan in a wheelchair to standup during his concert in Sydney, Australia.

October

Her hubs took her on a surprise daycation to Hawaii to celebrate her 34th birthday and then it was right into Halloween partying. Kim showed off her Vogue-themed Halloween costume here she went as the magazine’s Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour and North dressed as contributing editor (and Kimye wedding guest) Andre Leon Talley.

November

This was the month that she “Broke the Internet” with her Paper Magazine cover. That is all.

December

We’ve finally gotten to the end of Kim K’s whirlwind year. So far this month she’s cropped her daughter out of a photo and showed off her shockingly messy closet. Pretty low-key…for now.
