Brandi Glanville Throws Wine on Jeff Lewis, Has a Crying Meltdown over STD Joke

Even outspoken Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville has her limits.

The reality star had one of the most dramatic appearances ever on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live on Tuesday, when she ended up throwing a glass of wine on Flipping Out star Jeff Lewis and breaking down in tears after he cracked an STD joke at her expense.

It all started when Glanville was asked to run a hand through Lewis' hair to prove he wasn't wearing a toupee, after which Lewis wryly responded, "Could I get an STD from that?"

Glanville memorably claimed that her ex-husband Eddie Cibrian gave her an STD in her second memoir Drinking and Dating: P.S. Social Media Is Ruining Romance, which came out in February.

"You better check your mother-effing self," Glanville told Lewis after the jab.

Though even after the commercial break, the 42-year-old former model refused to drop it.

"Before we do this, I have something to say to Jeff about the whole, 'Can you get an STD from me putting my hands through his hair?'" she told host Andy Cohen. After dramatically throwing her wine at Lewis, she quipped, "As long as you wet it, I think you'll be fine. ... Now, no STDs, you're good. Alcohol kills everything."

"Really? Wow," a visibly stunned Lewis reacted. "I can't believe I defended you."

Though he eventually apologized.

"I'm sorry. I was kidding, it was a joke," he said. "Why am I apologizing? I've got wine all over me."

But although the tension seemed plenty real -- note Cohen's awkward attempts to smooth things over -- according to Glanville, the whole exchange was just a joke.

"People @JLJeffLewis & I were joking!," she tweeted on Wednesday. "We are good friends! I turned around cuz I couldn't stop laughing we wanted to fool Andy! #wefooledandy."

"It was just jokes for @Andy sake although @JLJeffLewis might have deserved it," she added.

Looks like they fooled him as he tweeted, "Live TV is really something…"

This of course isn’t the first time Glanville has courted controversy.
