First Angelina Jolie curtsies for Queen Elizabeth, and now she's hosting a movie screening at the Vatican.
The 39-year-old director/actress met Pope Francis on Thursday morning and gave a special presentation of Unbroken for a delegation of Vatican leaders.
"Pope Francis, aware of the incredible life story of Louis Zamperini, graciously welcomed the opportunity to view the film and is expected to attend the screening at the Casina Pio IV, headquarters of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences and Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences," Universal Pictures Italia said of the screening.
Jolie made it a girls' trip to Rome, only bringing her daughters Zahara and Shiloh. Us Weekly reports that Brad Pitt was also scheduled to meet the pope but didn't come due to a "last minute change." The mother-daughter trio was also spotted on Thursday at the Piazza Navona toy shop.
Back in October, Jolie became an honorary dame. The Oscar-winning star met the Queen, and was presented with the Insignia of an Honorary Dame Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of St Michael and St George at a reception at Buckingham Palace.
