Ellen DeGeneres knows just how we all feel!

George Clooney is clearly still in wedded bliss as was seen in his Golden Globes acceptance speech, but leave it to Ellen to totally feel the pain of millions of broken hearts across the globe.

When the 53-year-old actor accepted his Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement on Jan. 11, he thanked his recent bride Amal Alamuddin saying, "It's a humbling thing when you find someone to love –even better when you’ve been waiting your whole life…Amal, I couldn't be more proud to be your husband."

It made for a very sweet moment at the awards show, but on her Tuesday show, Ellen turns the moment into comedy gold. Sitting next to his Amal in a ridiculously sparkly getup, the daytime TV host thinks the speech is for her instead. When Clooney says the name Amal, DeGeneres is so shocked she spits out her champagne and then just continues to drink more as she's not the one he's gushing over.
