Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed Are Engaged

There's a vampire wedding on the way!

According to reports, 36-year-old Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder and 26-year-old Twilight actress Nikki Reed are set to tie the knot after just six official months together.

Reed's divorce from singer-songwriter Paul McDonald was finalized on Jan. 2, though she has been separated from the American Idol contestant since April 2014. Somerhalder and Reed were first spotted in public together in July of last year and quickly went domestic, adopting horses and a kitten. The pair is also reportedly starting a production company together.

It seems the couple isn't wasting any time after Reed's divorce, as Somerhalder was allegedly spotted purchasing a diamond eternity band at Neil Lane last month. The couple even hinted at their "great future" together on Somerhalder’s Instagram account on Jan. 8.

Ian’s rep told ET they won’t comment on his personal life.
