Sia covered her face and let her performers steal the show.

Sia is known for not showing her face when she performs live or speaks to the media.

When she performed on Saturday Night Live on Jan. 17, the singer chose to cover her face with a short black veil and let her dancers shine to her single "Elastic Heart."

Dance Moms star Maddie Ziegler, 12, took the stage with another dancer in the same nude leotard and blonde wig as they interpreted the song together.

Ziegler is also featured in Sia's music video for "Elastic Heart" with actor Shia Labeouf. The music video created controversy as many pointed out the 16 year difference between Labeouf and Ziegler when he wears nothing but nude shorts and has a caged dance-fight with her. The outcry ultimately caused Sia to explain her decision to cast them, "I apologize to those who feel triggered by #ElasticHeart," Sia later went on to tweet: "My intention was to create some emotional content, not to upset anybody."
