Kanye West reveals the real reason why he doesn't smile.
Seeing Kanye West smile on a red carpet is about as rare as seeing a unicorn fly.
He finally addressed why he constantly looks so serious during his speech last night at The Daily Front Row's First Annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards Thursday night.

"Back when I was working on Yeezus, I saw this book from the 1800s and it was velvet-covered with brass and everything. I looked at all these people's photos and they look so real and their outfits were incredible and they weren't smiling," he told the crowd. "The paparazzi, always come up to me, 'Why you not smiling?' and I think, not smiling makes me smile… When you see paintings in an old castle, people are not smiling cause it just wouldn't look as cool."
His wife Kim Kardashian is also catching a ride on the "no smile" train. But her reasoning is completely different… it causes wrinkles.

Let's be honest, we all know smiling is your best accessory. So naturally, we've come up with a few times when it was almost painful that they weren't smiling from ear-to-ear.
Really? You're doing something fun, you can't smile?
