Donald Trump recently told NBC's Today that he was looking "very seriously" at making a run for President of the United States in 2016, but how close is he to putting his name on the ballot?

"I'll be making a decision as to whether or not I'll run for president in the very near future," Donald told ET.

Donald has flirted with the idea of running for president since the 1980s, being vocal about changes he thinks should be made in the U.S. As one of New York's most famous sons, he also had a lot to say about how his hometown is handling Winter Storm Juno.

"The entire city is closed up over a non-issue," Donald told ET, acknowledging that NYC is not getting hit as badly as expected with Boston and Connecticut catching the brunt of the storm. "I think it's ridiculous and they ought to go back to the drawing board."

While most New Yorkers were spared from the worst of the blizzard last night, Kate Gosselin got dumped on by Donald on The Celebrity Apprentice, as she was fired from the show.

"Kate just didn't quite lead, and she couldn't control the team -- namely Vivica [A. Fox] and as you know Kenya [Moore] is brutal," Donald said, explaining his decision.
