After a long legal battle, the performer says he's 'gratified' by the court's decision.

The 37-year-old performer, whose legal name is Chris Bridges, has been engaged in a legal battle with Tamika Fuller over the custody of their young daughter Cai Bella.

During litigation, Fuller sought an increase in child support payments and claimed that Bridges had been against keeping the baby during Fuller's pregnancy, according to People.

Bridges claimed, in response, that Fuller's testimony was meant to damage his reputation, and went to show how he could provide a better environment for Cai.

After the court made its decision, Bridges released a statement saying, "After review of all the evidence, the testimony of the witnesses, the report of the guardian ad litem, and the claims made throughout this entire case, I am gratified that the judge found me to be the most fit and proper parent to have primary physical custody of our beautiful daughter."

Cai is Bridges' second child after his 13-year-old daughter Karma, born in 2001 from a previous relationship.
