The singing superstar and her trainer Marco Borges just announced that they're partnering to launch the 22 Days Nutrition plant-based home delivery meal service. The meals are 100 percent plant-based, made with organic ingredients, non-GMO, gluten free, soy free and dairy free and are delivered once a week. Available in three plans (1 Meal A Day-lunch or dinner, 2 Meals A Day-lunch and dinner or 3 Meals A Day-breakfast, lunch and dinner), the meals range from $9.76 to $16.50 per meal depending on how many meals you buy.
Beyonce and her husband Jay Z famously took the 22 Days Nutrition challenge in the winter of 2013, which is based on the concept that it takes 21 days to make or break a habit and on the 22nd day you are well on your way to forming new habits. It clearly paid off, as Beyonce looked incredible performing at the Grammys last January in her sexy sheer stage outfit.
Designer Michael Costello also revealed that her stunning lace Grammys gown was a "tiny" size 2/4.
"I am so grateful that I took the challenge and credit Marco with leading by example," Beyonce says about her new venture. "All you have to do is try. If I can do it, anyone can. I am excited to partner with him."
Last February, ET talked to Marco, when he dished about how Beyonce and Jay Z decided to take the vegan challenge.
"They're incredible human beings and we've developed a really beautiful friendship over the last seven years, and we were just talking about the benefits of plant-based nutrition, and health, and life, and I thought, it would be cool if I challenged them to a plant-based breakfast -- just one meal a day," he recalled.
And when that became "so easy" for them, the power couple decided to take it to the next level.
"Jay says, 'Yeah my birthday is coming up, and I think it would be really cool, if for my birthday I just did this, like, spiritual health cleanse and I tried something new.' ... It was amazing," he said.
