Meghan Trainor Reveals Her Dad Told Her Boys Like More Booty at Night

"My momma she told me don't worry about your size // She says, boys they like a little more booty to hold at night.

Meghan Trainor took the music world by storm with her catchy debut hit, so when ET caught up with the blonde bombshell at her first GRAMMYs carpet we asked her to look back at her most memorable moments.

"There are so many highlights," the 21-year-old singer gushed. "Last night I got to perform with John Legend my song 'Like I'm Gonna Lose You,' with him at the gala in front of all these stars."

The "Lips are Movin" singer continued, "The only way to explain it is it's like a movie. I'm the star of this movie and I've got front row seats."

Thanks to Trainor's smash song "All About That Bass," girls everywhere were given an extra confidence boost from this now-infamous line: "My momma she told me don't worry about your size // She says, boys they like a little more booty to hold at night."

So ET surprised the first-time GRAMMYs nominee with a celebrity question from another artist who wanted to know more about Trainor's booty inspiration. Miley Cyrus asked, "I would like to know, Meghan, did your mom actually tell you that guys like a little bit more booty? Was that actually a quote from your mother?"

Trainor spilled that another family member was actually responsible for that bootylicious piece of advice. "My mom told me to always not worry about your size and be very confident," she explained. "But I think that [my dad] was the one who really said, 'Don't worry, baby — boys like booty to hold at night.' My mom's too sweet, she's too innocent."

There you have it, ladies and gents! The Trainor family truth has finally been revealed.
