Sometimes the Internet can do good!
When Ashlee Buratti threw a birthday party for her son Glenn, a 6-year-old with a mild form of autism and epilepsy in Osceola County, Fla., she reportedly invited 16 of his classmates, who didn't show up.
That's when Ashlee took to a local Facebook group to express her concerns, writing, "I know this might be something silly to rant about, but my heart is breaking for my son. We invited his whole class (16 kids) over for his 6th birthday party today. Not one kid came."
Before they knew it, something like 15 kids and 25 adults showed up to give Glenn some birthday support, including parents, police, and firefighters in the area. Glenn's dad John posted some heartwarming photos from the party on Facebook.
There were some pretty great moments:
Glenn got to sit on a real police motorcycle:
And wear a firefighter hat:
There were Hulk hands:
Hope Glenn liked his presents!:
He got lots of them:
Happy birthday Glenn! You rock, Osceola County!
