'America's Next Top Model' Contestant Mirjana Puhar Murdered in Triple Homicide

Police confirm to ET that America's Next Top Model contestant Mirjana Puhar was killed in Charlotte, N.C., on Tuesday in a triple homicide.

Emmanuel Jesus Rangel, 19, has been arrested and charged with three counts of 1st degree murder for killing the 19-year-old reality show star as well as Jonathan Alvarado, 23, and Jusmar Gonzaga-Garcia, 21.

According to police, the victims knew Rangel and the incident was not random and possibly drug related.

TMZ reports that the incident took place at the home of Alvarado and Gonzaga-Garcia, who were reportedly roommates, and Puhar was believed to have been dating Alvarado for just a few months.

In addition to these three counts of first-degree murder, Rangel was also charged with a homicide that took place in Matthews, N.C., on Sunday.

Puhar appeared on cycle 21 of ANTM last year, being eliminated in the tenth episode. Her death brought about condolences from other ANTM alum.
