The only downside of this story is that it takes place at a wedding, so you know this perfect man is already taken off the market. The search continues, ladies...
Brian Scott and Whitney Kay got married last year at Shore Lodge in Idaho. We’re not exaggerating when we say: It looks like one of the most beautiful weddings we’ve ever seen.
They had a little company at the alter too: Whitney’s daughter from a previous marriage,
-- or Breezy, as they call her. “Brian came into Whitney and Breezy’s lives a couple years ago, and his love for both of them is almost tangible,”
, who planned the wedding, says.
And what has to be the sweetest moment of the wedding -- and of any wedding ever, maybe -- is when Brian turns to his stepdaughter mid-ceremony and asks, “Brielle, can I tell you something?”
And then he made these vows to her: “I promise to always hold your hand and skip with you down the street and bring comfort to your life. I vow to make you say your prayers before you eat.”
“I promise to read you stories at night, to always tuck you in real tight. I vow to show you how a man should treat a woman in my relationship with your mother.”
“And above all else, I vow to protect you, care for you and love you forever.”
Grab a tissue and watch the touching moment now (it starts at 4:00):
You know how people will say “there wasn’t a dry eye in the house,” but you know there were probably a few people that didn’t cry? There truly isn’t a dry eye in the house here.
Since then, their new family has continued to grow: Whitney gave birth to the couple’s son,
Joseph, at the end of the year.
We already know Brian is going to be the perfect daddy.
