Jennifer Lawrence says she doesn't go on her official Facebook page a lot, but on Friday, she needed to.
The Hunger Games actress
is filming the movie Joy
with director David O. Russell, and TMZ
reported that there was a "loud argument" on the Boston set between them.
"The eye witness says David started screaming at her... it was ear-piercing and laced with profanities," the report said.
Lawrence calls it all a "terrible rumor" in her latest Facebook post. She wrote, "David O. Russell is one of my closest friends and we have an amazing collaborative working relationship. I adore this man and he does not deserve this tabloid malarkey."
This is not the first movie that Lawrence has worked on with Russell. He also directed Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle.
As for Joy, Lawrence said, "This movie is going great and I'm having a blast making it!"
Joy is about a struggling single mom who becomes a successful entrepreneur. The star-studded cast that also includes Bradley Copper and Robert De Niro is set to come out in theaters on Dec. 25, 2015.
