Fellow supermodel Christie Brinkley has Cindy Crawford's back.

After a reportedly unretouched Marie Claire photo of Cindy leaked last month, Brinkley defended the 49-year-old model during a recent appearance on The Dr. Oz Show.

"I just shared a dressing room with Cindy Crawford -- at most, it was a year ago, OK -- we're in the dressing room and I turned around to grab something and Cindy is stark naked stepping into something," Christie recalls. "She looked perfect. It was kind of annoying. I was very inspired and went home and did my exercises."

"I honestly don’t know if that picture is for real," she muses about the photo, which was initially praised for its refreshingly not-so-flawless depiction of a celebrity. "I know there’s people that would like to believe it, but I’m telling you with my own eyes, she was perfect. I know that she takes really good care of herself."

Though Cindy herself has yet to comment on the photo, her photographer is reportedly threatening everyone who posts the pic -- he alleges that the original pic was stolen and then photoshopped to make her stomach appear worse than it actually is. In fact, shortly after the pic hit the Internet, Cindy's husband Rande Gerber took to his Instagram to show his wife in a bikini, in which her stomach shows no signs of the wrinkles displayed in the much talked-about Marie Claire photo.

Still, according to the seemingly ageless Christie, now 61, all the talk about age is overrated.

"I think that ultimately your age is determined by your attitude," she wisely tells Dr. Oz. "It's not the number, it's not how many wrinkles you have on your face. It's the energy that you project."
