Michael Buble, Emily Blunt's Ex, Admits He 'Was a Jerk' and 'Careless' With Past Girlfriends
Michael Buble isn't proud of his past behavior -- specifically when it comes to his relationships.
In a candid new interview, the 39-year-old singer opens up to Canadian entertainment show eTalk, admitting his not so nice behavior when it comes to his exes.
"I was a jerk and I was careless and reckless with the hearts of women I was with," he says bluntly. "And I got my karma. I earned it. I got my butt and heart kicked and it hurt me enough that I looked in the mirror and I didn't want it to happen again."

Could Buble be referencing his breakup with The Devil Wears Prada actress Emily Blunt? The two split in 2008 after three years together amid rumors he cheated, and the "Haven't Met You Yet" singer has talked about needing therapy post-split. But both Buble and Blunt have clearly moved on from their failed relationship. Blunt has been married to former The Office star John Krasinski since July 2010, and the two welcomed their first child together -- one-year-old Hazel -- last February. Buble married actress Luisana Lopilato in 2011, and the couple also has one child together, one-year-old Noah.
"I think everyone looks back at some of the things we did and it's so cringy how I acted," he muses to eTalk. "I learned about myself, I got closer to being spiritual and learned to be in the moment and realize how short life is. It changed everything."
He’s also learned a valuable lesson from his past heartbreak.
"The reason to be a good guy isn't for the person you're with, it's for you," he says. "That sounds weird but I like me better now. I'm happier now. I'm better at what I do, I'm better on stage because I'm not pretending to be the guy I want to be."
