J.K. Rowling continues to be our favorite author and/or person ever.

In response to a since-deleted tweet from a fan questioning how Dumbledore was gay when she personally "can't see" him that way, the Harry Potter author offered a perfect, concise response.

"Maybe because gay people just look like... people?" Rowling responded.

The message was well received among Dumbledore's fans and to be fair, the fan who sent the original tweet as well, who has since deleted the tweets, but responded, "Amazing answer... Yes you are absolutely right. Such an inspiration!!!"

As if it's not enough that she basically inspired our whole childhoods, she's continues to be such an inspiration today as well.

Thank you J.K. Rowling!
