Vin Diesel Honors Paul Walker by Singing 'Furious 7's' 'See You Again'

In a recent interview, Vin Diesel paid the ultimate tribute to his friend, whom he called a “brother”: singing Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again,” the film’s closing song that served as a dedication to the late actor.

With Los Angeles as the backdrop, Diesel sings some lines from the Khalifa track: “It’s been a long day without you my friend, and I’ll tell you all about it when I see you again. We’ve come a long way from where we began…”

Diesel has kept his friend close to his heart, recently naming his daughter Pauline after the actor.

In Furious 7, “See You Again” plays over the final goodbye between Dominic Toretto (Diesel) and Brian O’Conner (Walker) as they take one last quarter-mile drive before splitting off in separate directions.

“It was a very emotional time,” Diesel told ET’s Brooke Anderson. “The idea that the brothers came in only strengthened our resolves and only strengthened our conviction to carry on.”
