Pink has no problem with her slight weight gain, despite what her critics are saying.

The feisty pop star stepped out on Saturday night in an elegant black dress for the John Wayne 30th Annual Odyssey Ball in Beverly Hills, Calif. While Pink admits that the dress "didn't photograph as well as it did in my kitchen," she also doesn't think she deserves all the negative comments about her size.

"I can see that some of you are concerned about me from your comments about my weight," she tweeted on Sunday to her haters. "You're referring to the pictures of me from last night's (Saturday) cancer benefit that I attended to support my dear friend Dr. Maggie DiNome. She was given the Duke Award for her tireless efforts and stellar contributions to the eradication of cancer. But unfortunately, my weight seems much more important to some of you."

Pink, who was escorted to the event by her husband Carey Hart, admitted that she thought she looked good. "In fact, I feel beautiful," she continued. "So, my good and concerned peoples, please don’t worry about me (sic). I’m not worried about me. And I’m not worried about you either. I am perfectly fine, perfectly happy, and my healthy, voluptuous and crazy strong body is having some much deserved time off."

She jokingly concluded her tweet: "Thanks for your concern. Love, cheesecake."

The 35-year-old singer also shared how her family feels about her weight gain. "Willow said to me the other day whilst grabbing my belly -- 'mama-why r u so squishy?' And I said..'b/cuz I'm happy baby,'" she tweeted about her daughter.

As for her 39-year-old husband, Pink wrote: "And my hubby says 'it's just more to love baby' (and then I smack his hand off my booty cause we're in a supermarket)."

Pink's fans showed their support for the singer's message by tweeting out their own words of encouragement and stories. One message read: "Twitter is better when @Pink is shutting down the haters #trollingthewrongperson."
