"Since I've been 16, I've been like, 'My child will love this piece from Forever 21,'" Lively said. "They're never going to want it, but that's why I'm happy to have had a girl because I have a lot of things I've been hoarding with the excuse to pass it down to her."

Lively, 27, and husband Ryan Reynolds, 38, welcomed daughter James in December.

In August 2014, Lively said she couldn't wait to have children. "I gotta get started. If I could spit out a litter of kids, I would," she told Marie Claire at the time.

Now four months into parenthood, Lively is giving some advice to new mom Jessica Biel. On April 11, Biel and husband Justin Timberlake announced the arrival of their first baby -- a boy named Silas Randall Timberlake.

"Just enjoy it. Do it your way," Lively said. "That's all I can think that would be helpful."

Lively can next be seen on the big screen in The Age of Adaline, opening April 24.
