On Monday's The Doctors, nutritionist Jeanne McDaniel and Dr. Rachael Ross make a house call to June "Mama June" Shannon's home to check up on her 9-year-old daughter.

"There are a lot of meals that have been left over from some weeks that just can make you wonder if she's snacking on other items -- especially at school," Jeanne said.

Weighing 125 pounds at 4' 6", the goal for Honey Boo Boo was to lose 12-25 pounds to help curb her obesity and asthma.

While there were multiple steps to take to reach this goal (e.g. exercising and eating healthier), the most important part of the process was having Mama June committed to the changes. According to Jeanne, that doesn't seem to have happened.

"It appears that Alana is just kind of doing this on her own right now," Jeanne said.
