As the unrest in Baltimore continues following Monday night's riots -- during which over 200 arrests were made, 144 vehicles were set ablaze, 15 structural fires reportedly occurred, and at least 15 police officers were reportedly injured -- this video of a mom apparently dragging her son out of the riots is blowing up on social media.

Further video seems to show the mom scolding her son for participating in the riots. (WARNING: explicit language).

"You're gonna be out here doing this nonsense?" the mom can be heard saying. "Get over here now!"

Many people took to social media to applaud the mom's actions.

Some are referring to her as "mom of the year."

However, some are questioning her actions.

Other people are embarrassed for the son for getting dragged out by his mom.

Baltimore Police Commissioner Anthony Batts applauded the mom during a press conference, saying "I wish I had more parents who took charge of their kids tonight."

The protests and unrest in Baltimore occurred following the the funeral of 25-year-old Freddie Gray, a black man who died in police custody on April 19. A state of emergency was declared in Baltimore by Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan, and the National Guard has been called in.
