Mick Jagger Remembers Late Girlfriend L'Wren Scott on her 51st Birthday

The rocker paid tribute to the 6'3" designer by posting a pic on Twitter.

It's been over a year since the world was rocked by designer L'Wren Scott's death just a month shy of her 50th birthday. On Tuesday, April 28, she would have turned 51 and her longtime boyfriend Mick Jagger paid tribute to her memory.

"Remembering L'Wren on her birthday," The Rolling Stones frontman tweeted with an old photograph of Scott that was taken by Jean Pigozzi.

Scott passed away in her New York City apartment on March 17, 2014 of an apparent suicide. Upon hearing the news back then, Jagger made a statement admitting on Facebook saying that he was having trouble coming to terms with her death.

"I am still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way," he of Scott, whom he dated for over a decade. "We spent many wonderful years together and had made a great life for ourselves."

The 71-year-old rocker added, "I will never forget her."
