Janet Jackson is no longer "missing."

The notoriously private singer made a rare public appearance at Giorgio's Armani 40th anniversary dinner reception at Nobu in Milan, Italy on Wednesday night -- her first public appearance since last November at a Vogue gala in Dubai. Covered up in loose black trousers, a blazer and keeping her long brown locks in a hoodie, it's clear Janet was feeling a bit camera-shy. She attended the event holding hands with her husband, retail entrepreneur Wissam Al Mana.

Earlier this month, the 48-year-old singer retweeted a joke-flyer declaring she was "MISSING From: The Entertainment/Music Industry."

"Seriously Janet, where the hell are you?" it reads. "We NEED you back. We miss you. THE MUSIC INDUSTRY NEEDS YOU. Come back and show these young whippersnappers how it's done!"

Janet took the joke in stride, commenting, "LOL. Too funny, too sweet."

The "Rhythm Nation" singer's last original studio album, Discipline, was released in 2008. Though there have been rumors of some new music coming from the superstar, Janet has yet to comment on it. Her latest tweet on April 20 was cryptic, reading, "Letting go doesn't mean you stop."
